Besides being one of my favorite animals, the hummingbird is special because it represents someone who is Type A and a high producer, quick in nature, yet still capable of pausing to what appears to be a complete stop before moving on to the next thing. I also took inspiration from Elizabeth Gilbert, who once said that people not born with one calling or passion are like hummingbirds: they follow their curiosity, experience numerous things, then take the pearls of wisdom and truth they’ve gathered and spread or share them with others. I see myself in that way, taking the best from wellness and mindfulness courses, books, podcasts, and various resources and sharing them with others.
